Privacy
The short version: we use Google Analytics to count visits, but only if you say yes in the cookie bar. There are no advertising scripts and no embedded social media widgets.
Who is responsible
The controller of any personal data processed through this website is the company that operates it:

Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see which pages are read and how people find the site. It runs in Google's Consent Mode: until you click "Accept" in the cookie bar, no analytics cookies are stored on your device. If you decline, we only receive limited cookieless signals that Google uses for aggregated modelling.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga. They help count returning visitors and keep a session together. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, we have turned off ad features, and we don't combine the data with anything else. Google may process the data outside the EU, under the safeguards described in Google's privacy policy.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete the _ga cookies from your browser.
Fonts, styles and scripts other than Google Analytics are served from our own domain. Links to other websites, such as research papers or EU sources, take you to those sites, and their own privacy policies apply there.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted by Svět hostingu in the Czech Republic. Like any web host, our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse, such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. We use this data only in aggregate, if at all, and we don't combine it with anything else. Server logs are kept only for as long as the provider needs them for operation and security.
If you contact us
If you use our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic and your message, together with your IP address and the time of sending, which we use to block spam. The form sends this to us by email and does not store it on the website. We use it only to reply and, if you've reported an error, to fix it. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed for that purpose and don't share it with anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Its also your right to complain to the data protection authority in your country. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact details above.
